IRVINE — Junior Konrad Lyle broke up a 3-3 tie in the top of the sixth inning with a two-out, two-run single, lifting the Sea Kings in a Pacific Coast League game at Ryan Lemmon Stadium on Wednesday.
CdM's Ryan Pierce went two for five with a double, while Sam Younesi and Wyatt Zalewski each went one for three with a run batted in.
Tyler Duncan and Teddy Stuka each doubled for the Sea Kings (3-11, 3-4 in league).
Brett Olson threw six innings and got the win. Blake Schneekluth picked up the save.
The Sea Kings open Beach Pit Classic play at home against Canyon on Saturday at 11 a.m.
